Her aunt is olwena hughes and there are pictures of her uncle, olwena hughes's brother in law, norman roberts. i have been intrigued and quite moved to see her childhood home - one of the cottages by the mostyn arms. i had never seen where my mum grew up as they were demolished in the 60's ,when i was born. when i next visit my mum i will ask could she be interviewed about her memories for this wonderful collection of stories and anecdotes. i sincerely hope she will. my uncle eddie and auntie beatie lived in a cottage in well road and i used to come and stay with my auntie violet and uncle norman roberts( all great anuties and uncles really ) as a child and stayed with them in the last bungalow on the right, set high off the road, as leaving trelawnyd, towards dyserth. i have so many happy memories including feeding lambs at my aunt's on well lane. I think the family were violet, edward, cleaton and olwena jones. my nain and taid though i never knew either were thomas and ada living on mostyn terrace. i would love any information about them too. kindest regards to all, clarecakmonsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18018356418260892183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4564926559254199586.post-85575145503197602632011-04-17T03:04:51.748+01:002011-04-17T03:04:51.748+01:00What lovely memories - thank you for conserving th...What lovely memories - thank you for conserving them so that we may avail ourselves of them and get a glimpse of days-gone-by!JohnDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00608216150220329902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4564926559254199586.post-46029973286244361572011-04-13T22:16:29.280+01:002011-04-13T22:16:29.280+01:00I love hearing about an older generation and the p...I love hearing about an older generation and the places they called home.
